Poejazzi Shorts: Shakka

We’re happy to gift you another of our Poejazzi Shorts, this time we got Shakka to sit still for a while in-between that busy schedule (it’s only going to get busier) and all that energy he’s got and talk those inimitable Shakkapellas that have garnered over 300,000 views on YouTube, being a nerd, his love for multimedia and his ambitious plans for using it in the future on a truly global scale. We wanted this interview to reveal glimpses into the process of all the work and magic that goes into the making of his music as well as the unique characteristics of Shakka’s sound and how it inspires those sharply turned out House of Alt visuals. Check out his new Shakkapella where he and Tanya Lacey mix MJ’s Smooth Criminal and Rihanna’s Where Have You Been? While you’re here and assuming you’re now hooked go and check out the great songs he wrote himself such as Drivin’ and Take our Time on his award winning mix tape The Shakka Crown Affair (free to download)
