Poejazzi Recommends: G.R.E.E.D.s’ READY EP Launch Party. Again.

Someone incredibly wise once said: it’s not the falling down, it’s the getting up, and afterwards dusting yourself off and carrying on like it ain’t no thing, that matters. This event you see here was originally scheduled for an early Dec 2012 showcase when the then-venue pulled out (*Nigerian Accent* ‘God Punish Them.’) With no other choice but to reschedule, it is a testament to the loyalty Yomi Sode aka G.R.E.E.D.s’ inspires in his fanbase that 99% of tickets holders chose to keep hold of them for the new date. Ask any artist; fan loyalty in London, London of all places, for an unsigned act is the Flipping Holy Grail, the Halleluiah, The Blessed Miracle, The Golden fleece, The Flying, Tap Dancing Penguin, the Evelasting Chewing Gum and Albino Pet Tiger you can take on walks around Highgate. Amongst other things.

Once again: This is going to be the one of first amazeballs event in the LDN poetry calendar. The Remedies (Kanaa Ellie, Ed Sheeran) AKA The Best Session Band In The UK will be on the live instruments, while support comes from some fine UK jewels: Kal Lavelle, Joe Culpepper, Wilson, Dionne Reid, Hayden (The Stow). Hosting will be Dean Atta and Deanna Rodger. You have my blessing to check it out.
