Black Orpheus is one of the best films I’ve ever seen, having never seen it on le big screen I am very excited about Charlie Dark’s live re-score/re-mix at the South Bank Center as part of the Vision Sound Music festival.
Black Orpheus is Marcel Camus’ Palme d’Or winning adaptation of a play by Vinicius de Moraes. Set in Rio during the carnival it is a refreshing and wonderous take on the Greek myth.
On Friday 2nd Sept. at Queen Elizabeth Hall Mr Dark will be joined by guests Tanya Auclair, Adriano Adewale, and Bigga Bloco for what promises to be a very unique experience.
