Video: United Vibrations, ‘No Space, No Time’

This video’s has been out for a bit, but better late than ever. We at Poejazzi have always been fans of 12 Tone Collective, and United Vibrations (one of the bands from the collective) come thoroughly recommended. A clash of Afrobeat, hip hop and punk, with the sickest, siiiiiickest drummer under 25, we’ve had the pleasure of hosting them at one of our YOTP gigs last year, achieving what many consider to be near impossible: make people dance at a poetry night. Ask any poetry promoter around, it is near impossible to get poetry fans to dance.

They’ve finally dropped their debut album ‘Galaxies not Ghettoes’ which you can purchase off bandcamp here. Below is their secone single, ‘No Space, No Time’ which sounds like the philosophy of Ram Bass  laced over sweet funky horns, and looks like the African cast of those black and white Tarzan television series built a spaceship out of Cassette players and pure undiluted rainbow. Enjoy.
