You may not know Raphael Attar, because you weren’t paying attention: We featured him alongside his magnificent leeds band Paper Tiger a while back. When he’s not ith the band, Raphael is a comedy/spoken word artist (his latest show, the Raphael Attar Variety Show, will be hitting the Edinburgh Fringe next month). Recently he wrote an amusing ode to the current God Of All Things British Music, Gary Barlow. And then Gary Barlow heard the song, and is currently suing him for defamation.
Just kidding: Gary tweeted about it, which led to a few more hits on the youtube counter, and Nick Grimshaw recently played it on Radio One.
